| After my mom gifted this book to our oldest child at 2, we "paid it forward" by giving it as a 3rd birthday gift several times. The book is highly interactive and has terrific, kid-friendly illustrations. With stories that engage your child and embrace characters of different cultures, this is definitely one to add to your at-home library. |

| My three boys love this book. It is a collection of stories about a day in the life of people in different professions. The artwork is really nice and the stories are easy to follow. My 2 year olds listen intently and my almost 5 year old has the stories memorized. He has even noticed that some of the characters make appearances in more than one story! Don't ask me how he can tell this, but it is nice that all of the stories seem to happen in the same town so kids can get a sense of community and interaction. Love this book! |

| Beautifully written, and fantastic illustrations. The more my child looked the more he could see. He loves the farmer and the firefighter - funny how cliched little boys are. This book is not cliched at all though, there are female firefighters, male nurses and multicultural classrooms in this book. The little thumbnails at the front help my 2yr old choose which job he wants to read about which is a clever way to introduce the "index" concept too. |
